DataTrains is a client/server software that can be integrated into any network.
The following modules are the basis of a typical DataTrains server:
- Apache
- PHP
- MySQL
- HTTP(s)
- TCP/IP
Support for databases:
You can use for DataTrains any database. That means it is not necessary to insert a further solution if a
possible individual solution already exists. This saves time and money and your IT department will thank
your for it.
With the following database systems installations already had been done:
- MySQL
- Microsoft SQL-Server
- Microsoft Access
- Oracle
- Informix
- Navision
Of course, you can also use any database that is capable to ODBC.
Operating system:
If windows or Linux/Unix - you decide by your own what you prefer.
Client:
As a client serves any actual web browser. This web browser can access to
the applications from the IntraNet or also from the Internet.
Reporting:
The DataTrains HTML Reporting System provides HTML pages in which defined CSS can be unified. Therefore
the printing and memorizing of documents as web sites is enabled.
The use of Crystal Reports is a
further possibility to prepare complex reports - also with charts.
For document-safe issues the PDF option is available.
Hardware:
DataTrains does not make great demands on your server. Already with
low-cost-server you can enable up to 500 users a trouble-free working. By the function of the server
mesh you have furthermore the possibility to run in parallel two complete independent servers which
brings a 100 % non-failure security with hardly no substantial costs
